RETRACTABLE AWNINGS
Solar and Star Industries produces and installs a variety of retractable awnings, including lateral-arm, straight-arm and scissor arm units. A full line of manually operated units are available, as well as motorized remote control units with toggle switch and manual overrides. Wind and sensors are also available. We also provide a full line of tract-guided retractable pergola and outdoor café covers with patented internal gutter system, that can be used in conjunction with our café sidewalk dividers. Vertical shades with opaque, translucent and mesh materials are also available. Special housing and custom recessed boxes are also possible to make units “disappear” into the architectural surroundings when retracted. All standard and flame-retardant acrylic canvases are available in a variety of colors and patterns, and custom colors and patterns can also be produced. For commercial and restaurant projects, we use the latest heat-transfer and silk-screening methods on both valance flaps and covers for accurate graphics reproduction.
