CANOPIES
Solar and Star Industries produces and installs all styles and configurations of entrance, sidewalk and drive-through canopies. These include post-supported canopies (free-standing or engaged), suspended units and cantilevered structures. Residential, commercial and institutional canopies provide welcome protection to tenants, clients, patrons and patients. Along with canopies we also manufacture walkway covers, roof structures and enclosures, tents, membranous tensile structures, bus and smoking shelters and vestibule enclosures. Our cover materials include all commercially available fabrics (Sunbrella, Seamark, Patio 500, Ferrari, eradicable Cooley Brite) in standard and flame-retardant treatments, including acrylic canvas, reinforced vinyl and vinylized fabric, translucent materials, lexan and polycarbonate, flat and standing-seam metals. We are capable of producing custom colors and patterns for individual projects or large runs for commercial chain-store projects and use the latest heat-transfer, eradication and silk-screening methods for accurate graphics reproduction. We offer aluminum framing, including Miliken staple system, galvanized and stainless steel and are able to produce customized components in a variety of materials, including bronze, brass and stainless steel as well. We also offer maintenance, cleaning and repair services. A variety of lighting solutions are also available for fully illuminated awnings or down-lit opaque units, from double-bulb cold-weather fluorescent fixtures in vapor-proof covers and recessed incandescent units to the latest LED and halogen solutions.
